Covid-19 Summer Term Learning
With the school currently closed, we appreciate that some parents of pupils with SEND may be concerned about the provision for their children. Whilst the class teachers continue to send home activities and learning tasks suitable for all pupils through the school’s website, we will also provide some resources aimed specifically for those pupils on our SEND register. We will upload new activities each week into the Summer Term Learning section of the website under SEND to cover the majority of different needs, although not all areas may be updated on a weekly basis. Please feel free to look through and see if any of these will suit your child.
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.” (Matthew 18:12-14)
In Matthew’s Gospel we learn that every individual is precious to God. In the light of this teaching, the staff at St Hugh of Lincoln School value every individual equally and in line with Catholic Christian principles seek to offer the best possible education to every pupil taking account of any special educational needs or disability.
Our SENCo is Mrs R Pickard.
