Our staff

Mrs Bullen is the school’s Headteacher.

Mrs Bullen became our Headteacher on 1 September 2009.

Mr George is Deputy Headteacher and subject leader for ICT and PE. He is the classteacher in Year 5.

Mr George is also the school’s Educational Visits Co-ordinator, is responsible for the school’s ‘eco-schools’ work and is a member of the Fairtrade School Steering Group. Mr George is the member of staff with responsibility for the school website.

Miss Griffiths is the classteacher for Year 3. She is subject leader for Design and Technology and for History.

Miss Griffiths is also responsible for provision for Gifted and Talented children in the school, and runs the school netball club.

Mrs Grace is the classteacher for Year 6 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Mrs Grace is the subject leader for Music in the school, and runs the school choir.

Mrs Winsor is the classteacher in Year 4. She is the school’s subject leader for Religious Education and French.

In addition to her own class, Mrs Winsor also teaches French to Year 5 and Year 6.

Mrs Rose is the classteacher in Year 1. She is the subject leader for Science.

Mrs Rose has additional responsibility for Pastoral Care in the school and is a member of the Fairtrade School Steering Group.

Mrs Lewry is the classteacher in Reception Class. She is the subject leader for Literacy.

Mrs Lewry has additional responsibility for Curriculum Development in the school and is also the Chairperson of the Fairtrade School Steering Group.

Mrs Widdicombe is the school’s Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. She is Year 6’s classteacher on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and also teaches in Year 4 and Year 5.

Mrs Widdicombe is also subject leader for Geography.

Mrs Merchant is classteacher in Year 2.

Mrs Merchant is the subject leader for Mathematics.

Mrs Barker teaches in Reception Class for one and half days per week.

Mrs Barker is the school’s Art subject leader.

Mrs Underwood teaches every class in the school!

Mrs Underwood is the representative of the teaching staff on the Governing Body.

Mr Buzgoi is our caretaker.

Mrs Griffin is a member of the office staff.

Mrs Rees is based in the school office. She is the school’s Finance Manager.

Mrs Putman is the school’s Administrative Assistant.

Mrs Putman does so much in the school office that it is impossible to list it all!

Mrs La Sala is a Special Needs Assistant, working to support children in Year 2.

Mrs Avery is a Special Needs Assistant, working to support children in Year 1.

Mrs Ruiz is a Learning Support Assistant, in Year 2. She is also a member of the midday supervision staff.

Mrs Shembry is the school’s technician. She supports classes during their ICT lessons, and helps us to make sure that we have all the resources we need!

Mrs Coe is a Learning Support Assistant, in Year 1. She is also our Senior Midday Supervisor.

Mrs Diliberto is a Learning Support Assistant, in Year 5.

Mrs Smejka is a Learning Support Assistant, in Year 6. She is also a member of the midday supervision team.

Mrs Sole is a Special Needs Assistant. In addition to work within a class, Mrs Sole works with small groups of children from different classes, supporting development of mathematical understanding.

Mrs Kiernan is a Special Needs Assistant, working to support children in Year 2.

Mrs Power is a Learning Support Assistant, working in Year 4 and also in Reception Class.

Mrs Samuels is a Learning Support Assistant, in Reception Class.

Mrs DeVivo is a Special Needs Assistant, working to support children in Reception Class.

Mrs Herman is a Special Needs Assistant, working with children in classes throughout the school. Mrs Herman supports children in class, during Literacy and Numeracy lessons, and works with individual children and small groups of children outside the classroom.

Mrs Metcalfe is a Special Needs Assistant, working to support children in Year 1.

Ms Miranda is a member of the midday supervision staff.
