Year 3 is the first year in Key Stage 2.
Amongst the areas of study in Year 3 are Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt, Using email, Designing and making picture frames, Teeth, Healthy eating, Weather around the world, and Investigating patterns.
Children in Year 3 have the opportunity, through the Parish, to prepare to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. The school is active in supporting children and their parents during their period of preparation.
Year 3 children participate in swimming lessons at Guildford Spectrum.
Each year, the whole Year 3 class represents the school in the Good Shepherd Celebration, with the Bishop, at Worth Abbey. Another event children in Year 3 look forward to each year is the trip to the British Museum.
