About our School

St Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Primary School is in St John’s, Woking, Surrey. The Headteacher is Mrs T Bullen.

There are about 210 children on roll at the school, aged from 4-11. There are 7 classes.

The school was first opened in 1977.

Aims

At our School we are growing as part of God’s Family where everyone will be included, safe, important and special.

We aim:

  • To provide an education which is broad and balanced and is consistent with Gospel values and the National Curriculum
  • To provide an experience of living, learning and worshipping in a warm and welcoming Catholic Community
  • To create a spiritual, intellectual, moral, social and physical environment, which fosters the development, to the full, of the individual
  • To encourage every child to be a pro-active, caring and responsible member of the School, Parish and wider community
  • To encourage self esteem by developing self discipline, self motivation and self confidence, to enable all children to reach their full potential
  • To be a dynamic, forward thinking school which appreciates initiative, manages change effectively and communicates efficiently
